1. Pebble
Placement with overhead mount - more than 2x as effective at detecting your snoring, we highly recommend using your Pebble with the overhead mount attached to your wall/headboard a maximum of four inches from the top of your head.
Placement on night table - if you cannot use the overhead mount, make sure the Pebble is no more than arm's length from your head with the narrow end pointed towards you and level with your head in the reclined position.
Sensitivity setting: start at the middle setting. If you find that the Pebble is not picking up your snoring, adjust it up one notch up by clicking + sign. If you are experiencing 'unwanted inflations' or the Pebble is too sensitive, adjust it down one notch by clicking the - sign. Repeat again if necessary.
2. Base Unit
Try the highest setting (maximum elevation of pillow). If you find it uncomfortable, adjust back to the middle setting.
3. AC/noise machine
If you have one of these, please do the following:
- place as far away from the Pebble as possible as Smart Nora will react to the loudest noise in the room
- turn down to the lowest setting possible
- In the case of an oscillating fan, please ensure there is no airflow directed at the Pebble
4. Expander (white plastic insert placed within your pillow)
You'll notice the expander has three panels on each side. Locate the side with the wide middle panel and place this side face down within your pillow.
5. Use the 30 minute delay feature
Some customers will avoid unwanted/random inflations by consciously or unconciously moving their head off the pillow. Unfortunately in this scenario, the pillow insert cannot raise your head meaning that snoring will continue unabated. We recommend placing your head squarely on the pillow and activating the 30 minute delay to ensure you can fall asleep before your Nora begins to activate.
